After an Open Studio event last night at Traffic Zone, it was clear to me that I need way to communicate directly with people who might have further comments, questions, and ideas about my work.

I exhibited six gelatin silver prints in a series called "Remembering", with a quoted statement from a traditional memorial service. These images were printed recently in the dark room that I have been renting from Rebecca Pavlenko in her studio at Traffic Zone. The selection was made after reviewing and making dozens of work prints from older negatives(1998-2005). Also shown were two LED prints from an exhibit in 2002, ("Exhibitions: Promised Lands" on my website).
Return to the hands-on darkroom process has been a necessary quieting time, as I prepare for additional work in Argentina. This project, which I will describe later, has been made possible through the Minnesota State Arts Board grant I received in March.
